　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　The Manager Med Surg , working under the leadership of the Director, is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the unit. The Nurse Manager also assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing and managing the department and staff to assure quality service on a twenty-four (24) hour basis.

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　Advanced Cardiac Life Support required

　　Basic Cardiac Life Support required

　　Current Registered Nurse license in Florida or multistate compact license required

　　Bachelors Degree required; MSN preferred

　　5+ years of nursing experience in an acute care setting required; 1+ years of previous Nurse Manager experience in an acute setting
