The Global Safety and Support (GSS) Program Management Office (PMO) is actively seeking an individual for a detail-oriented, experienced, and professional New Product Introduction (NPI) Technical Program Manager. The individual will own NPI supportability readiness and take a lead role in ensuring the successful development and launch of new robotic hardware technologies and processes.
The role is focused specifically on “New” technologies and processes. The position will work with engineering teams to ensure that new robotic technologies can be assisted by our field teams during test and once they are launched into operations. To be successful, this TPM must be comfortable working in a highly ambiguous environment.
Key job responsibilities
Establish and maintain a robust relationship with key stakeholders within the Engineering organizations and Product teams
Develop a deep and complete comprehension of product supportability and what it means for GSS to successfully assist a new technology
Plan, develop, and implement NPI supportability processes and related work.
Provide updates on product supportability and GSS readiness to Sr Leadership to accept NPIs graduating test phases
Develop cross-functional program plans to cover all areas of supportability, including technical, safety and hardware assistance, etc.
By working with the Software and Hardware Development Teams, the individual will help clarify supportability design requirements for new hardware and software.
The individual will surface roadblocks and propose alternatives to Sr. Leadership at the local and global levels to help with making decisions.
Identify supportability gaps during development and test phases, provide recommendations, and develop corrective proposal plans to drive closure to the gaps.

About the team
The GSS PMO is a global team that owns the supportability readiness for all NPIs as well as Global Safety and Support business operations and strategy, operational excellence, and cross-functional program management. The PMO is a highly diverse group of technical and non-technical program managers with expertise in leading complex and impactful initiatives internally within the support space and externally for GRD customers.

Basic Qualifications
7+ years of technical product or program management experience
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
