Job Summary
ACCO Brands has a challenging opportunity for a North America Distribution Sales Account Manager supporting our Kensington distribution and reseller business. Reporting to the NA Channel Sales Director, and as part of the Kensington channel team, the North America Distribution Sales Account Manager will actively manage the customer relationship for TD Synnex North America. They will also manage a defined VAR/reseller territory. The role will act as the main point of contact for account buyers, marketing managers, operations/inventory managers and finance managers. Primary channel focus includes, and is not limited to distribution, DMR, VAR and distribution accounts. With marketing and channel support from cross-functional teams in both Canada and the US, this person will own the sales targets by assigned account and plan the business to achieve maximum revenue growth.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with the account buyers to build strong business relationships.
• Collaborate with finance and sales leaders to develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets.
• Effectively Present and gain placement of new products and promotions.
• Participate in account marketing activities and industry trade events.
• Strong analytical skills to learn insights and from large data sets to help drive decision and strategy.
• Work with sales teams to develop and implement external training programs that enhance capabilities and product knowledge to customers.
• Gather competitive information and provide quarterly TAM update to the organization.
• Create, implement, and maximize promotional and marketing campaigns.
• Develop and execute effective selling through strategies at the account level.
• Accurately maintain customer forecast and work with demand and supply planning teams.
• Be the voice of customer and represent the distribution voice and needs to our internal organization. Identify new product information and relay internally.
• Provide monthly outlook on sales, aged inventory, and POS trends.
• Foster strong collaboration with marketing, finance, operations, and other teams to ensure alignment and synergy across the organization.
• Ensure timely and proper execution of sales related activities within the designated territory
• Analyze competitor activities in the assigned territory and assess opportunities for business development
Qualifications
• Diploma or degree from a post-secondary institution
• 5+ years of managing the TD Synnex account
• 5+ Relevant IT reseller channel experience
• 50% travel required in US, some Canada
• Able to develop strong product and competitive product knowledge
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong customer relationship management along with analytical skills required
• Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, able to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
• CRM/Salesforce proficiency
• Strong customer focus – both internal and external
• Must have strong organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Self-motivated with high energy, passion for the brand, energetic and dynamic, thrives to win
• Good Interpersonal, team and networking skills, assertiveness, and professional maturity
• Working knowledge of both B2C and B2B channel
Salary Range: $115,000 - $125,000
