　　Job Description

　　The night shift Production Supervisor is responsible for planning and managing the day-to-day allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials, and systems) in order to efficiently, safely and cost effectively achieve performance targets as agreed with Production Management. This is a night shift position located in Greenwood, IN and reports to the Operations Manager.

　　MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　• Ensure that a high quality of products, services, housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained and improved in the area

　　• Review daily achievement of targets and report variances during on-the-floor and review meetings

　　• Coach, mentor and develop team members to meet current and future business requirements

　　• Prioritize, schedule, and ensure maintenance and repairs are completed to maximize efficiency

　　• Review daily maintenance effectiveness with Tech Leads and Team members to identify opportunities for improvement

　　• Ensure the development and implementation of action plans to address root causes of failures and support continuous improvement initiatives

　　• Facilitate seamless handoffs and communicate key information to peers, team members and Production Leadership

　　• Understand internal and external regulations, procedures and policies and apply them fairly and consistently

　　• Manage relationships with internal customers and suppliers, colleagues and support services to ensure achievement of targets

　　• Developing and leading the Night Shift production team

　　Qualifications

　　Key qualifications include:

　　• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity with line ownership or factory ownership experience required

　　• Four-year degree is preferred but not required

　　• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and maintenance of production line equipment

　　• Excellent problem-solving ability

　　• PC Skills including MS excel and Word

　　• Familiarity with quality and hygiene regulations

　　• Ability to multi-task and delegate

　　• Effective communication skills

　　• Experience with AMM systems, such as SAP, is preferred

　　• Ability to manage, coach and develop employees

　　• Ability to build a strong results driven culture on your shift through employee engagement is a must
