JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description As a Truck Sales Chassis Engineer, youwill play a pivotal role in the sales process, serving as a technicalexpert of Class 6 - 8 chassis designs to support customers and the salesteam. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer needs,providing technical guidance, and promoting the features and benefits ofour truck chassis solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Actas a technical liaison between customers and the sales team, providingexpert advice on Class 6 - 8 chassis specifications, capabilities, andcustomization options. Competent understanding of: Competitive brands &designs Vehicle dynamics, suspension and steering systems, aerodynamicsand tire modeling Review truck frame layouts for accuracy and coordinaterequired changes. Engage with customers to understand their specificrequirements, usage scenarios, and challenges related to truck chassisapplications. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations,highlighting the technical features and advantages of the truck chassissolutions. Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities forchassis customization to meet their unique business needs. Demonstrate acommanding knowledge of chassis specifications to match the customersneed by product segment including On highway, construction/refuse, citystreets, logging roads, etc Determine relevance and potential value ofnew technologies to support customer ESG objectives Provide trainingsessions for sales personnel to enhance their understanding of chassistechnology, enabling them to effectively communicate technical detailsto customers. Assist in the development of technical proposals, ensuringalignment with customer requirements and technical feasibility. Workclosely with internal teams to communicate customer feedback, technicalrequirements, and collaborate on custom solutions. Stay informed aboutindustry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies relatedto truck chassis to provide insights for product development and salesstrategies.
