ProfessionalTime Type:Full timePosition Term:12 MonthPosition Details:Summary of Duties:The Program Manager reports to the Administrative Manager with direction and collaboration with Associate Vice Provost, Director of Recruitment, and Associate Director of Orientation and Transition Programs of the Department of New Student Enrollment (NSE). This position serves as the primary point of operational and administrative contact for internal and external constituencies and is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all operations and administrative functions for large recruitment and orientation events, off-site programs, student communication systems (Slate), procurement and inventory, student/family payment systems, complex program budgets, and reconciliation and assessment. The Program Manager has substantial responsibility for directing and controlling program and office operations and is accountable for the allocation of resources. Independent judgment and discretion in work directly related to management policies and department business operations as well as delegated authority to make commitments that affect department operations is expected in carrying out duties in the areas of budgeting, accounting, outside contracts, personnel supervision, and oversight of the day-to-day administrative activities of the programs. Position responsibilities will be performed in support of department vision, mission, and values as well as divisional and institutional mission and goals.Participation in "day-of" program may be required including on-campus recruitment and yield events, orientation programs, off-site programming, and virtual events.Position requires some weekend and evening work and occasional travel.Required Qualifications:• A Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area.
