At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Company, we've been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.
As New Product Introduction (NPI) and CMM Programmer Leader you will be the reference for all new programs developed in Rivalta plant and for CMM programming legacy activities by dedicated teams. NPI will be managed from the cost estimation support, variable and P&E, to production launch.
The scope of each program development is to guarantee, at the beginning of the production, a robust process in line with the product requirements and the respect of program milestones. All the industrialization phases are monitored by the continue measurement of the Production Readiness KPIs (Deliveries, Design for Manufacturing, Technical Validation, Process Stability, FTY, Defect per Unit, Scrap, APQP and Cost).

Essential Responsibilities
Coordinate project management, technical and logistical teamsDefine priorities of the teamsIdentify a common approach to manage activitiesDrive the teams to achieve the Production Readiness and Producibility Review on NPI programsFacilitate continuous improvement on NPI activities, increase programs profitability of current programs in accordance with business strategiesEnsure CMM legacy programming improvements and business unit supportSupport in the identification and purchasing of new measurement technologies/equipment
Qualifications/Requirements
Master's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical EngineeringExtensive experience in Manufacturing EngineeringExperience in Project Management and management of structured working teamsAbility to set and monitor multiple priorities, coordinate projects/activities of othersStrong interpersonal and leadership skills as per GE Leadership BehaviorsFluent English and Italian, oral and writtenWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Desired Characteristics
Knowledge of GE engineering, manufacturing, and design processes is considered a plusKnowledge of Transmission and Low Pressure Turbine architectures for relevant technical requirements, design solutions, technologies, validation/certification approachStrong process discipline with sound analytic and statistical skillsFinancial and business acumenAbility to bring assignments to a successful completion
