  In behalf of German & US Accommodation.NCCI SMC is managing the physical infrastructure (Power, Cooling and physical Security / Fire safety) in BT owned locations. This infrastructure is monitored out of a 24/7 Service Management Center (SMC) as part of the NCC India. A 100% availability of the managed Service (Power, Cooling, Physical Security & Fire safety) is the Aim of the NCCI SMC.

  What you’ll be doing

  Incident Management

  24/7 monitoring of the M&E Infrastructure in BT ON Net Sites Germany & US.

  Evaluating incoming Alarm- and status alerts and manage these alerts according to Alarm plans and pre-given routines.

  Initiating counteractions according to Alarm plans and pre-given routines

  Direct Interaction with BT staff, Suppliers and Customers in the case of incidents or arming/ disarming-routines

  Managing the corrective maintenance (fault & repair) process, guiding and supervising the local suppliers and BT staff until the fault is completely fixed.

  Active supporting the M&E related Planned Works process.

  Administration of the physical Site Access process (BART) for Germany and France. Ensuring the request in dispatcher mailbox and Access admin queue is proactively monitored with TAT of less than 15 minutes.

  Liaising and working with German Accommodation FLM/ third party maintainers to restore services and to perform planned activities on the site and creating an appropriate report to capture the PW’s activity sequence.

  Planned work publishing for planned works associated with 3rd party suppliers in Access Network.

  managing the problem through to eventual rectification. To provide 24 hours/day, 365 days/year rotational shift part of the unit’s function.

  Incident Logging and Categorization

  Process Objective: To record and prioritize the Incident with appropriate diligence, to facilitate a swift and effective resolution. To control all events and activities reported via the various customer and network monitoring tools used in surveillance of the platform supported by the centre, and if required other BT or partner networks. To status and track all fault reports following agreed procedures on the opening of faults, and ensuring quality of service targets are fully met or exceeded.

  Ensuring login in CCNG phone systems once in shift and handling any incoming calls from customers/suppliers.

  Incident Monitoring and Escalation - Process Objective: To continuously monitor the processing status of outstanding Incidents; so that countermeasures may be introduced as soon as possible if service levels are likely to be breached. To provide status and track all fault reports following agreed procedures on the tracking of faults, and ensuring quality of service targets are fully met or exceeded. To follow all appropriate escalation and notification procedures within the time frames defined for the service offering, or where customers have specific escalation profiles.

  Incident Closure and Evaluation

  Process Objective: To make sure that the Incident is resolved, and that all information required describing the Incident's life cycle is supplied in sufficient detail in the relevant incident management system following agreed procedures on the closing of faults, and ensuring quality of service targets are fully met or exceeded.

  ICM Planned work Publication:

  To publish the Planned works in a timely manner. This done taking all the care in the parameters in PW i.e. Date, impact, description and duration to ensure BT end customer not getting impacted for any uninformed/in sufficient details for a PW.
