Description

　　SAIC is seeking a Network Engineer to support the Air Force Modeling & Simulation (AFMS) program; this is a full-time position based out of Osan Air Base in the Republic of Korea.

　　Job Duties:

　　The contractor shall deploy, configure, test, and maintain PASC's network systems and its related hardware, software, licenses, and certification.

　　The contractor shall respond and analyze reported/detected incidents, faults, and degradation. The contractor shall provide support to install, upgrade, and test network systems and infrastructure as directed by the government.

　　The contractor shall research, analyze, recommend, and document possible resolutions or actions to resolve network issues or improve network performance.

　　The contractor shall conduct testing of network to ensure that current release of software products is in used and to ensure operability, efficiency, and compliance with existing standards.

　　The contractor shall perform system backups to ensure expedient restoration of the database for the respective network equipment.

　　The contractor shall coordinate and communicate with external organizations to submit network issue tickets, diagnose the issue, and resolve the issue if possible.

　　The contractor shall monitor status of projects, prepare milestone status reports, and present status to the government.

　　The contractor shall provide operational and maintenance support of simulation networks.

　　The contractor is authorized and capable of configuring PASC's firewall configuration upon approval by the government and ISSO. When a government network specialist is present, the contractor shall perform these duties with the government network specialist as a team.

　　Contractor shall maintain appropriate cybersecurity certifications in accordance with AFMAN 17-1303, Cybersecurity Workforce Improvement Program, and DoD 8570, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program.

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor's and five (5) or Master's and three (3) years; or relevant experience in lieu of degree. (Must have High School Diploma)

　　Must be US Citizen and currently possess (min) a Secret Clearance

　　Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

　　This position requires standing, walking, bending, and squatting on a regular basis. May require the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands and arms. Requires the ability to carry, lift, move or push up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.

　　Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Preferred
