　　SAIC is seeking an entry level Network Engineer to join out team in Fort Moore, Georgia.

　　Description :

　　Network Engineer Associate needed to assist with the administration of an enterprise network to ensure network availability and security as well as perform necessary maintenance for the Modeling and Simulation Branch of the Maneuver Battle Lab at Fort Moore. The successful candidate must be familiar with Cisco routing and switching devices, common network management and monitoring tools, common network protocols, and experience with sub-netting, VLANs, and multi-cast routing.

　　Responsibilities :

　　Assist the Network Engineer with configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, QoS);

　　Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations;

　　Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability;

　　Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning;

　　Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues;

　　Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.

　　Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the security team.

　　Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

　　Qualifications

　　Required Education :

　　Bachelors and zero (0) years related experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.

　　Qualifications :

　　Must possess the following DoD IAT-II baseline certifications, or ability to obtain within 90 days: CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent; SSCP, GSEC, GICSP)

　　Proven hands-on networking experience with CISCO devices.

　　Position requires knowledge of Network switching and routing; TCP/IP IPv4/IPv6 protocols, OSPF routing, inter-VLAN routing, multicast routing, upgrading CISCO IOS, and sub-netting.

　　Experience or training in configuring switches, routers, and networks.

　　Clearance :

　　Must possess an active or recent SECRET security clearance or ability to pass a DoD security eligibility investigation and obtain a SECRET clearance.
