Description:
This person is responsible for directing, managing, and coordinating the Network & Collaboration Services team to ensure effective operation of voice and data communication networks, internal/perimeter and cloud services network architecture in support of our customer. The team architects, develops, secures, and supports the network/telecom infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, unified communications, cloud and on-premises networks, and telecommunications services. This position reports to the Vice President of Information & Technology Services.
Key Projects this person will assist:
Network Refresh for routers and switches
Phone System Migration
Observability of the Network, Configuration Management
Expand on Cisco ICE development (Network Access Controls, etc.)
Moving out of a DR Site and moving into a New DR Site and assisting with the Build out of that site
Expanding on Networking in Azure

Manages the operation of the Network Services & Collaboration team to ensure efficient operation of the hardware and telecommunications infrastructure in support operations and assures a trained, motivated and professional staff capable of providing technical support to meet technical network needs.
Serves as a member of the Information Technology Services (ITS) management team and may be asked to stand in for any of the other managers to include the AVP, Enterprise Systems, AVP, Core Systems, AVP Service Management or the AVP, End User Technology.
Provides timely and accurate information including reports, analyses and recommendations as necessary related to security, hardware, LAN/WAN, VPN, Telephony, and telecom infrastructure for use in proactively managing business needs, budget, and strategic planning to meet strategic objectives.
Directs the execution of team projects as directed in support of overall departmental and organizational goals.
Recommends policy and develops procedures to ensure the secure, efficient and effective operation of the data networks and voice systems. The position assures that terminals, peripheral equipment and communication lines are installed and maintained according to specifications and with minimal disruptions to operations. This includes responsibility for maintaining accurate diagrams or maps of wiring and network paths. This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing Tower’s LAN/WAN, datacenter, and security infrastructure across the organization.
Communicates with vendors concerning repairs to down lines and severe equipment malfunctions. As part of the Disaster Recovery Plan, the position assures adequate facilities and network infrastructure are available to resume system operations with minimal downtime or disruption in the event of a disaster. Ensures adequate Disaster Recovery documentation and testing occurs in support of Tower’s overall Business Continuity Plan a
