Description
Design, deploy, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network components to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot network issues, and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Conduct regular network maintenance activities, including firmware upgrades, patch management, and hardware replacements, to ensure network integrity and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and implement network infrastructure changes, including the installation and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
Implement and enforce network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, to safeguard sensitive information and protect against unauthorized access.
Assist in the development and implementation of network policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure standardization and compliance with industry best practices.
Provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot network-related issues, and assist in resolving connectivity problems.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role, with a solid understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and security concepts.
In-depth knowledge of network hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Hands-on experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
Familiarity with network security protocols and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical support to end users.
Industry certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent, are highly desirable.
Prior experience with cloud networking, virtualization technologies, or network automation is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks concurrently, with a strong attention to detail.
