.NET System Developer

The product team is empowered to evaluate best distribution of tasks to be done.

　　What is the Job all about?

　　The person in this position is expected to show very high accountability and responsibility, while also having some domain experience within the team’s product responsibility.

　　This job position is within the Core Sizing team, mainly responsible for the pump sizing and selection process within the Grundfos Product Center (ensuring optimal pump selection based on users requirements). Knowledge of pump dynamics is not required for the coding position.

　　The person in this position is expected to show very high accountability and responsibility, while also having interest in gaining domain experience within the team’s product responsibility.

　　Within theCore sizing toolTeam:

　　· Business requirements: You will be engaged together with the Consultants for discussion of technical complexity. You can help break down business requirements into technical tasks.

　　· Communication : Good communication and presentation/demo skills in English.

　　· Documentation : You have experience in documenting everything from user stories to technical complex requirements.

　　· Co-ordination : Create overviews, communicate, and align expectations with other teams, operations, and stakeholders.

　　· Collaboration: You will collaborate within our team, with Product Owners across teams and the organization (e.g. in cross-functional Communities of Practice). You will collaborate with the Front-end developers mainly working with Java.

　　The role will be reporting directly to a Supervisor for IS Sales Application Development and to be based in Ortigas, Pasig City.

　　Your main responsibilities:

　　Responsible for system and solution architecture with an Agile mindset inside and outside the Product team. Can train associate developers and actively participate on Product teams activities. Ensure that the Excellence in Software Development is followed as part of the daily activities. Participate in requirement analysis.

　　Write clean, scalable code using latest .Net programming languages, and can also revise, update, refactor and debug code.

　　Close and open collaboration within and outside the team although we work from different locations.

　　Your background:

　　At least 5 years of professional experience as .Net backend developer

　　Educational background as a Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineer or similar.

　　Some years of experience as a .NET Software Developer with backend focus.

　　Experience in setting up and using dependency injection

　　Experience with test frameworks (unit, functional and system integration testing)

　　Experience with TDD (Test driven development) and CI/CD pipelines.

　　In addition, we expect you to:

　　Possess a curious mindset and ready to continue developing your skills in .NET and other new technologies.

　　Be ready to work with Docker, C#, Kubernetes and MS SQL.

　　Learn about SonarQube and the ELK stack and utilize it.

　　Have an interest in working within a Scrum team.
