  Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

  Location: Moline, IL, 61265

  Type: ONLY on W2 contract (NO C2C)

  Length: 01/15/2024 to 10/31/2024

  Pay Rate – $90 - $95 per hour (Open for discussion)

  This team is working a hybrid schedule right now – 3 days per week in the Moline, IL office – no exceptions. Fully Remote candidates will not be considered for this position

  the manager is looking for senior level experience with OO ABAP - all candidates who are submitted MUST have strong experience with that skill.

  The client is seeking SAP techno-functional software engineers who can analyze, design, configure and customize SAP solutions. The positions will be working on solutions for the client Billing and Invoice function of the Order Management program.

  The individuals may be asked to work with the business to analyze acceptance criteria and perform required functional configuration within Sales & Distribution (SD) and Financial (FI) modules.

  These positions may also work on custom Object Oriented-ABAP development. Candidates should have extensive experience with OO-ABAP and a strong candidate would implement customized solutions that adhere to quality standards by implementing object-oriented design principles and executing engineering practices such as test-driven development, CI/CD (change management, Jenkins, Active Control, etc.) and rigorous refactoring.

  The following technical skills must be demonstrated in the work history:

  Object Oriented ABAP

  NW Gateway

  ALE/IDOC’s/Proxies

  Process Orchestration

  Enhancement Framework

  UI5/Fiori

  CDS Views, OData

  HANA Views

  SAP PI.

  Note: The manager understands that finding one candidate with both the technical and functional skill sets may be challenging. If candidates don’t have experience with both, the priority skills will be on the technical side. Candidates with functional analyst experience only will not be considered for this role.
