Job Summary
The successful candidate will function as an integral member of a team of Government, military, and contractor personnel that provide program, engineering, and technical support to both industry and government on a variety of programs.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Work with a team of engineers supporting CBM+ implementation and sustainmentConduct and lead engineering research, design development, and other assignments leveraging HUMS to achieve CBM+ objectives in accordance with customer specificationsPerform a variety of engineering tasks, independently or under supervision, which are broad in nature and are concerned with the design and implementation, including hardware, software, and support facilities and/or equipment.Perform other engineering and logistics tasks as assigned by QTEC Aerospace.Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science - required,Engineering major preferred - equivalentMinimum 10 years of related experienceRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Extensive experience in helicopter maintenance and maintenance managementExperience utilizing in-depth vibration and aircraft state-data analysis to apply new CBM+ concepts to improve existing maintenance practicesExperience utilizing HUMS systems and related data to support aircraft maintenanceStrong communications and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving skillsDesired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
15+ years of experience as an Army or Air Force Maintenance Officer or Non-Commissioned OfficerExperienced Maintenance Pilot or crewmember conducting Maintenance Test Flights / Functional Check Flights```{=html}
```- Ability to correlate HUMS data anomalies with component faults, flight events and maintenance events

```- Experience with complex rotorcraft systems, functions and troubleshooting- Ability to analyze maintenance records, flight data and operating environment to support developing new or improved procedures to address problems impacting readiness and aircraft availability
