Description: Non Destructive Technician

　　Looking for candidates that have prior experience/certifications for this role that will be Performing non-destructive testing on a variety of sheet metal aircraft components for an aerospace company.

　　Typically Monday through Thursday, times can vary but for days 4am – 2:30pm and swing would be 2:30pm – 1am.

　　Location: Kent, WA

　　Duties:

　　Perform nondestructive testing (NDT) on various materials and components

　　Follow established procedures and guidelines for conducting NDT inspections

　　Assemble and disassemble parts for inspection purposes

　　Use hand tools, soldering equipment, calipers, and micrometers to perform inspections

　　Interpret and evaluate test results to determine the quality and integrity of the materials or components

　　Process parts and interpret findings in accordance with Exotic and customer specifications and requirements.

　　Follow established NDT technique sheets and ensures any revisions to established techniques meet Exotic and customer requirements.

　　Detect faulty processes and provide input for their resolution.

　　Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of NDT methods and techniques and propose solutions to problems which impact productivity.

　　Support other NDT Technicians in revising established techniques and methods. Accurately document inspection findings.

　　Recommends modifications to inspection procedures/techniques.

　　Check required dimensions using calipers, micrometers and other inspection devices. Responsible for ensuring proper documentation is entered on manufacturing planning (including correct quantities) and paperless timecard system.

　　Interpret and follow written instructions, sketches, schedules, drawings and documents.

　　Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.

　　Work under limited oversight.

　　Experience:

　　Previous experience in nondestructive testing is required

　　Familiarity with assembling and soldering parts is a plus

　　Proficient in using hand tools, calipers, and micrometers for precise measurements

　　Certifications will be necessary in NDT

　　Job Type: Full-time

　　Salary: $26.00 - $40.00 per hour
