　　What You’ll Do

　　KBR is looking for highly motivated rising Juniors, Seniors and Graduate students seeking science, engineering and software development opportunities that provide challenging and meaningful work experience to be a part of our 2024 Intern class.

　　As an energetic and enthusiastic intern with KBR, you will provide hands on experience applying engineering practices to all sorts of engineering disciplines for DE MSHORAD. This internship project will assist in the development of interlock safety system, software testing, systems engineering and vehicle integration in support of directed energy weapons for RCCTO.

　　As a National Security Solutions Intern, you will:

　　Design and manufacture cutting edge circuit boards to be tested for application on our weapon system.

　　Assist and understand COTS integration for command, control, and communications.

　　Software test directed energy weapon system designs.

　　Document systems engineering best practices, new designs etc.

　　Selected interns for this paid opportunity will be provided with the opportunity to mentor with experienced professionals, gain experience and establish a name for themselves in this high demand career field.

　　Anticipated Skill Set:

　　Computer science software programming experience with MATLAB, Python, Java and/or C/C++

　　Experience with hardware-software interfaces

　　Comfortable with documenting plans and results in Word or PowerPoint

　　Major field of study: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineers.

　　Scheduled Weekly Hours: Average 40 hours per week.

　　Requirement:

　　Must be a US Citizen

　　Must pass a Security Pre-Screen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
