SUMMARY
The National Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting and executing Sales Support and Business Analytics activities for Integra LifeSciences Tissue Technologies Division in alignment with departmental and corporate objectives. This person will be required to be “customer facing”, working closely with Enterprise and Field Sales personnel to execute on large, multi-hospital systems (IDN) opportunities throughout the United States.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for the Tissue Technology growth within the United States. This includes Regional Contracting.
Collaborate with Legal Department regarding contracts and IDN contracts
Develop and maintain relationships with contract directors and procurement nationwide
Develop and manage large multi-product expansion and conversion projects; new hospital and surgery center start-ups where applicable
Collaborate with sales team to develop targeted IDN and business development opportunities
Partner with Director of Market Research and Reimbursement/ Market Access to review and provide market trend and strategic influence into new opportunity and proposals
Assist to provide ad hoc reports (usage, price lists) and conduct routine meetings with Sales Management to drive contract growth and revenue at the IDN/Regional level
Assist in the Enterprise Launch of new GPO contracts with RBM teams in all TT channels
Act as divisional liaison to Enterprise Division with expressed goal to gain IDN/Enterprise contracts
Oversee DRF process for GPO/IDN tier approvals for the TT Division
Operate within defined budgets and strictly in accordance with corporate policies and procedures
Perform sales administrative duties in a timely manner and as defined by executive management
Train, develop and mentor new personnel in the understanding of IDN/Regional Contracting management and execution
Identify improvement opportunities for sales, marketing and Delphi team
Maintain high level of product and technical knowledge
Operate within defined budgets and strictly in accordance with corporate policies and procedures
Perform sales administrative duties in a timely manner and as defined by executive management
QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for his position.
Education: Bachelor's Degree
5-7+ years of relevant medical technology experience: Business Development, Client Services and Consultative Sales selling into large IDN/GPO organizations
3-5+ years executing, multi-million dollar RFP/RFI proposals
Experience selling in medical device/regenerative technology
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent writing, grammatical and proofing skills –knowledge of business terms and conditions
Strong strategic and analytical skills
Salesforce experience and a training background a plus
CRM/ Salesforce.com experience a plus
