　　Job Duties: Research, design, develop, and/or test operatingsystems-level software, compilers, and/or network distribution softwarefor semiconductor operations, applying principles and techniques of computerscience, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Duties include:support, maintain, and upgrade code for software infrastructure associatedwith central processing unit (CPU), graphics processing unit(GPU), and/or system on a chip (SOC) devices; drive softwareoptimization by suggesting designs, features, and/or modifications toimprove functionality and performance of AMD's products; test software forhardware compatibility and/or to influence hardware design; analyzesoftware performance, implement algorithms, and evaluate complex technicaldata to identify, debug, and troubleshoot issues; show technicalleadership on small to mid-size projects and on definable portions of largerprojects related to developing and advancing AMD's technology; collaboratewith cross-functional design and engineering teams on new productinitiatives; and communicate the status of software development projects andrelated interdependencies to management or senior engineers in technicalstaff.

　　Requirements: Master's Degree in Computer Science, ComputerEngineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or relatedfield (or foreign equivalent) and 36 months of experience in job offeredor closely related engineering role.

　　Employer will accept alternate combination of education and experience.Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in an accepted field of studyand five (5) years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in thejob offered, or closely related engineering role.

　　Position requires two (2) years of experience with the followingtechnologies and/or skills:C/C++PythonLinux/Windows InternalsOS kernel & systems developmentLow level device drivers and embedded driver developmentYocto project
