It includes a 473-bed community teaching hospital, a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport, a large multispecialty provider group, and special needs services for adults and children. St. Vincent’s is the first hospital in Fairfield County to be integrated into the Hartford HealthCare network, and is the system’s second-largest hospital. _Summary:_ The MRI Technologist performs MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) exam in the hospital by selecting specific software parameters according to established protocols in order to assist the referring physician in diagnosis. The MRI Tech prepares and positions patients, injects patients with contrast media, and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body. _Rewards_ Hartford HealthCare doesn’t just take great care of its patients. Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in MRI Technology preferred. * State of Connecticut Radiographer license, ARRT certification in Radiography required. ARRT (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) preferred. * Basic Life Support (BLS) We take great care of careers.
