Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated scientist to join our Technology Innovation team at Bayer. This role enables opportunities to work in cutting edge science within an industrial setting and training opportunities within a research environment. This person will work in a collaborative environment supporting multiple functional groups.
The primary responsibilities for this role:1) Design and execute molecular, cellular, and microbiology laboratory experiments.2) Conduct work using routine molecular biology techniques (transformation, PCR, cloning)3) Report results to supervisor
Qualifications:Bachelor of Science Degree or higher education with demonstrated ability in molecular biology and microbiology and experience in working in the research lab are required.Clear and timely communication, the ability to connect and collaborate with our team and amongst different teams as well as virtually connect across locations is required.Strong emphasis on results orientation is also key to success for this role.Proficient use of MS Office and experience in basic molecular biology techniques and bioinformatics tool is required.Familiarity with cell biology and Agro-infiltration techniques will be beneficial.
