  Modeling & Simulation Engineer (Moorestown, NJ)

  Modeling & Simulation Engineer:

  Radar Systems Engineering within the Mission Systems Engineering Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking a candidate to support the design, implementation, test and maintenance of large scale, high fidelity radar modeling and simulation (M&S) products. The successful candidate will have strong analytic and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment. Occasional travel is required.

  Job description:

  Apply advanced software technologies and principles to develop innovative M&S solutions for in-service and next generation radar systems.

  Perform trade studies, requirements development, and interface definition to translate customer requirements into software specifications.

  Develop models and detailed simulations to assess system performance.

  Support integration and test, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, provide technical assessment of anomalies, and drive issues to resolution.

  Conduct verification and validation activities.

  Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters.

  Basic Qualifications :

  Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent combined with 6+ years of related experience.

  Proficient in and working knowledge of Unix, Linux, Python, C++.

  Experience in an Agile workflow environment.

  Strong customer focus with proven ability to drive complex technical issues/challenges to closure.

  Demonstrated experience in working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams

  U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance.

  Desired skills :

  Advanced degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent.

  Radar systems development experience including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulation

  Experience with system engineering tools including DOORS and Rhapsody; software development tools including Git, Jenkins, JIRA; automated testing tools and approaches.

  Experience with automated testing tools and approaches.

  Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem-solving skills.

  Excellent written and oral communication skills.
