Job Summary
The Systems Engineering Division (SED) provides unmatched experience in systems engineering to the U.S. government and to numerous public and private agencies, universities, nonprofit organizations, consortia, and commercial companies involved in the advanced application of space technology. From systems architecture development to system analysis and optimization, astrodynamics, orbital debris, navigation, failure analysis, mission assurance, cost and schedule assessment, and economic market analysis, SED exploits an incredibly broad array of engineering and business disciplines against a diverse and dynamic portfolio of programs and national challenges.
The Cross-Disciplinary Engineering Office (CDEO) integrates diverse skills to enable mission success in spite of increased risk. What You'll Be Doing Primary customers include the National Nuclear Security Administration, United States Air Force, United States Space Force, and Intelligence Community partners.This role is predominantly focused on development and support of digital engineering, model-based systems engineering capabilities, and exploration of artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions to augment systems engineering.Initial work is expected to focus on data science, Cameo/CATIA Systems Modeler integration, and development of microservice/cloud-based solutions to automate and streamline digital and model-based systems engineering activities.This position bridges among traditional software development (web application, scripting, microservice development, containerization), application integration, data science, and systems engineering disciplines.Data underpins modern systems engineering, and this role will be focused on bringing data from disparate sources, whether it's historical artifacts or generative models, to bear on the nation's hardest systems engineering problems.What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited program.3 years of experience in systems engineering, data science, or software engineering fields.Cameo/CATIA/NoMagic integration experienceStrong written and oral communication skills, and an ability to work through ambiguous problems.Ability to travel domestically approx. 25%.This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.How You Can Stand Out
