  About the Role

  Work under limited supervision when supporting assigned service calls, apply building maintenance skills to perform sophisticated preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, building systems and equipment, vehicles, and grounds across multiple industries/ buildings within a route. Monitor building system operations and performance. Apply several trade skills such as refrigeration skills, welding, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling. Provide direct and indirect leadership supervision to one or more technicians.

  What You’ll Do

  Follows all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.

  Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance. Complete maintenance and repairs, records as needed.

  Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Order materials and supplies to finish the tasks.

  Assigns new work orders to team and reviews open work orders confirming with technicians work will be completed on time, update client systems as needed.

  Arranges for subcontractors as needed. Coordinates and inspects the work performed by outside contractors.

  Maintains an energy management program to make sure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum.

  Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.

  Implements a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.

  What You’ll Need

  High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated ability in complete building operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks. Possess skills to functionally operate a "full size" van/truck.

  Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook.

  Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
