Your technical expertisewill be vital as you evaluate and modernize Global Positioning Systems(GPS). You'll develop your skills in developing and acquiring spacesystems while gaining experience with delivering sustained, reliable GPScapabilities to America's warfighters, our allies, and civil users. Growyour skills by merging space vehicle development and acquisition to developclient solutions, assess technical designs, and test programs. You Have:
15+ years of experience with system engineering or integration with MajorDefense Acquisition Programs, including space, ground, software, orhardware systems
Experience with the DoD acquisition system
Experience with sustainment and capability enhancement of space systems
Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE15288.2
Knowledge of service level concepts of operation and deployment of systemcapability
Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships withgovernment clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers(FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
20+ years of experience with system engineering or integration with MajorDefense Acquisition Programs, including space, ground, software, orhardware systems
Experience with military space systems
Experience with space launch systems
Experience with DoD life cycle logistics in a sustainment organization
Experience with JIRA and Confluence
Knowledge of DoD systems engineering, testing, and production policies andpractices
Knowledge of SAFe Agile framework and practices
Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program managementfunctions in support of design reviews
Master's degree
