To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building the sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the Lunar Surface.Blue Origin is committed to building a future where millions of people live and work in space to benefit Earth. We must return to the Moon permanently, and the Blue Moon Lander enables this goal. Blue Moon is a large, flexible, reusable commercial lander for cargo or crew.Our Lunar Transportation team is developing our lunar landers to demonstrate core capabilities - including the BE-7 landing engine, precision landing sensors, and advanced integrated power and propulsion architecture. The team building this vehicle is rethinking how space systems are designed, with a high-performing architecture, efficient reusability, and rapid design iteration. Come join our team and pave the road to a permanent lunar presence.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!Responsibilities include but not limited to:Develop test fixtures and equipment to support component and subassembly functional and environmental testingDevelop, plan and execute component and subsystem tests, including development, leak, shock, vibe, thermal, proof, and EMC.Develop test requirements, plans and procedures to ensure acceptable hardware/ system performance.Design, define, procure, and install system test components and materials; manage vendors and subcontractors during installation.Assist in evaluating hardware and system performance data from qualification and acceptance testing.Assist in troubleshooting qualification and acceptance test anomalies, provide dispositions for hardware non-conformances with supporting rationale, perform system and component risk assessments and define risk burndown in support of vehicle testing and ultimately flight.Identify opportunities for safety improvements and cost savingsDemonstrate high standards in test operations and work cooperatively with a diverse team of Integration Engineers, Responsible Engineers and BLUE customers to ensure requirements are metIntegrate between Mission Crew Interfaces subsystem and overall system level vehicle to ensure component level testing is in compliance with overall vehicle test plans.Lead daily test operations, operate test consoles, direct technician work and coordinate with internal customers.Minimum Qualifications:Passion for our mission: Millions of people living and working in space!Minimum of a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar2 years relevant test experience or 2 years relevant hands on systems engineering experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusionMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asy
