Description:

Mechanical Maintenance Technician | Millwright with experience welding and repairing machinery

Work on mechanical systems - Automated Weld Mills, cut off systems, conveyors, overhead cranes, hydraulic and other mechanical components

inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust and maintain all mechanical equipment in the steel mill environment.

Dismantle equipment when required for repair or transportation and reassemble it

Replace defective parts of a machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.

Test equipment to evaluate operation to ensure it's safe

Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.

Assemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power tools.
