This role leads and drives sustainable and transformational change across our largest business segment around the globe. Ideal candidates will be partners with our operations sites, focused on process improvements and demonstrated improvement in metrics. Under the guidance of the Sr. Director Operational Excellence, you will advance Lean in practice, adaptation and cultural integration. What You Will Experience in this position: Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving and decision making as well as recognizing them for exceptional work Drive change that brings value to our customers by being an influencer for our lean culture. Assist in the execution of continuous improvement projects that align to the strategic business plans Collaborate with leaders at all levels in the development and execution of short and long-term operational plans Engage, motivate, and inspire operations and cross functional teams to define and deliver value You have: BA or BS degree in Business, Engineering or similar field MBA or other graduate degree preferred 7 years demonstrated experience Influencer of Lean Methodologies Ability to be an encouraging partner with a combination of analytic rigor, conceptual ability, innovation, creativity, mental flexibility and judgment Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships at all levels both internally and externally (customers, suppliers, etc.) Approximately 20% of domestic and international travel WE HAVE: A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day At nVent, we connect and protect a more sustainable and electrified world with inventive electrical solutions.
