　　What’s a typical day as a Mill Machinist (Programmer and Setup Experience Required)? You’ll be:

　　• Loading and unloading raw materials

　　• Proficiently using gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements

　　• Reducing set up time and machining time through process improvements

　　• Inspecting completed work for conformance to specifications using tools such as calipers, height gauges, micrometers, rulers, etc.

　　• Performing geometry and tool wear offsets

　　• Cleaning and performing daily/preventative maintenance of company equipment

　　• Assisting in organization and maintenance of Machine Shop work environment

　　• Utilizing and abiding by AS9100 requirements and safety procedures

　　• Training newer employees/co-workers on manufacturing processes and procedures

　　• Providing feedback and input for process improvement

　　• Complying with all quality policies and instructions

　　• Tracking/recording job progress and deficiencies daily in both written and electronic formats

　　This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

　　• Have 3-5 years of CNC Mills experience (programming experience required)

　　• Are proficient in reading and understanding blueprints

　　• Have a proficient understanding of and ability to accurately use measuring instruments

　　• Have the ability to turn on, set up, and operate lathes and/or mills with minimal assistance

　　• Have proficient knowledge of various CNC controls and M and G code

　　• Have the ability to perform mathematical calculations

　　• Are self-sufficient and have keen attention to detail and quality

　　• Can bend, stoop, and reach

　　• Can lift 30 lbs
