current structure, day-to-day operations, and outcomes in a manner that they may not have thought of before. On our team, you'll use discussions and workshops with stakeholders and support staff to identify the elements that work best in their environment and the areas for improvement. Once you have a thorough understanding of where and how the organization can improve, you'll work on a path forward with your client.

You Have:
2+ years of experience with stakeholder engagement, outreach, or strategic communications in communities, state and local governments, tribal and native organizations, or NGOs located in Alaska
Experience with identifying state and localpolicy
relevant to the client organization and incorporate into activities and actions to ensure mission success, as appropriate
Experience with communications and outreach to build stakeholder consensus and partnership building and management
Experience with providing logistics support, coordinating client interests across organizations, developing agendas and meeting summaries, preparing background materials, drafting briefings and press releases, coordinating spe
cial guest tours, and developing communication campaigns and public affairs guidance
Experience with authoring various outreach materials, including fact sheets, newsletters, briefings, press releases, and story maps and updating and maintaining the client organization website to improve and enhance existing communication materials
Experience in assisting with developing public affairs guidance and a comprehensive communications strategy for the client organization
Knowledge of Micro
soft Office, including Word, Excel, and SharePoint and database management
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, learn and adapt quickly to new subject areas, communicate clearly and concisely through oral, written, or visual means, represent the firm in daily interactions with clients, work on multiple assignments simultaneously, manage time effectively, and be flexible in responding to conflicting deadlines and priorities

Experience with supporting DoD or Federal agencies in the Pacific region, various governmental and non-governmental organizations, or state agencies in an academic or professional work environment
Experience with the planning, design, or implementation of landscape-scale conservation activities
Experience with preparing grant proposals for requesting funding from federal, state, or philanthropic programs
Knowledge of encroachment, land use management, tribal consultations, and installation resiliency for military lands and operations
Knowledge of the DoD's Readiness and Environmental Protection Integration
(REPI
) Program, Sentinel Landscapes Partnership, Army Compatible Use Bu fer
(ACUB
) Program, Air Force Mission Sustainment or Community Partnership Programs, or Military Service encroachment management programs
Knowledge of conservation and technical assistance programs, including conservation stewardship program, agricultural easement program, forest legacy program, or environmental quality incentives program
Knowledge of Land and Water Conservation Fund(LWCF
) and National Fish and Wildlife Foundation
(NFWF
) programs, including the National Coastal Resilience Fund and America the Beautiful Challenge Program
Knowledge of Endangered Species Act regulatory requirements for terrestrial wildlife, including Habitat Conservation Plans, Critical Habitats, or military Integrated Natural Resource Management Plans
Knowledge of DoD joint land use studies

), compatible use plans, installation complex encroachment management action plans
