DESIGN PROGRAM MANAGERROCHESTER HILLS, MI - IN PERSON
As a member of the Eagle Ottawa Global Design Team, the Design Program Manager will be responsiblefor leading their customer account, engaging in design actives to promote and sell our products on targeted programs. You will lead internal efforts and communications to ensure developed products meet customer expectations, also that key customer timing and testing is met. Develop and support design trend shows and reports.
The Role:Propose leather products to support business plan for targeted programs. This is achieved with frequent customer meetings, product/trend presentationsIdentify new business opportunities in advance of forecasting services to the team through frequent contact with the OEM Designers, allowing Eagle Ottawa designs and product strategy to be developed early for a competitive advantageWorks with product development to develop appropriate aesthetic properties for new leather development on schedule to meet customer specificationsDevelops and executes leather presentations showing automotive ready concepts and development capability (i.e. color and trend research, trend shows)Responsible for operating complex programs and projects, which includes handling tasks that are involved in designing and development, as well as productionAlign and track all awarded materials including secondary operations that support winning OEM targeted programs in 5 year planSupport on-time completion of all required color mastering and construction activities for awarded business. Including keeping history, tracking, and providing documentation to appropriate partiesLeads cross functional internal team activities and communications to achieve the above objectivesAssist the EO design team in completing the Global Trend PresentationParticipation on internal weekly program callsBuild strong customer partnershipsOther Design related tasks

Your Qualifications:Bachelors Degree/4-year Degree RequiredAutomotive Color & Trim, Project Management, BusinessProficient in Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Outlook, Familiar with SharePoint sitesDesigner can create and design various patterns and graphics by utilizing Adobe SuiteDesigner should be able to manage and lead the needed design work independentlyDesigner must display professionalism and be able to relate well with all levels of customers
