　　The Custodian is responsible for keeping the production facility clean and in working order. 　　Duties and Responsibilities

　　Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following Buckhorn policies and OSHA standards.Maintain an oil and water-free production floor.Operate/Maintain floor scrubbers and other powered cleaning equipment.Operate forklift to move pallets of cleaning materials (Simple Green Drums, Absorbent Socks, etc.)Operate forklift to move wastewater/waste oil totes.Separate waste oil and water and properly store totes.Utilize forklift to deliver waste oil and absorbent socks to vendor pick up area.Inventory and properly store janitorial supplies and keep supplies stocked on a regular basis.Clean and inspect exterior of plant (sidewalks, trash, etc.).Set up and tear down meeting rooms.General cleaning duties as assigned to include breakrooms, restrooms, offices, and other facility areas.Trash removal.Performs light maintenance work as requested, including hanging signs, snow removal from sidewalks, etc.Assists with recycling efforts by collecting and preparing plant recyclable items.Properly disposes of Biohazards (i.e., blood and body fluids) as needed for Quality and Environmental.

　　Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions; ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to do two mathematical operations to arrive at the solution; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations; ability to work effectively with coworkers and supervision.

　　Education and ExperienceAt least three months related experience.High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Must have a valid and current driver's license and can pass a driver's license check. Selected candidate will be required to become forklift certified.
