  Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Production/Inventory Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Mesa, Arizona .

  Position Responsibilities:

  Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc.

  Monitors and analyzes work in process.

  Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems.

  Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to insure parts availability.

  Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy.

  Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.

  Works under limited supervision.

  This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

  This position is for 1st shift.

  This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.

  Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift

  Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift

  Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  More than 1 years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment?

  More than 1 years of experience working with various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and cranes

  More than 1 years of experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts and related equipment

  More than 1 years of experience working with supply chain strategies (e.g., inventory reduction, parts kitting, supplier consolidation, optimum flow, lead-time reduction)

  More than 1 years of experience with inventory management and material [requirements] planning systems?

  More than 1 years of experience with warehouse inventory (e.g. parts accuracy and accountability)

  Typical Education/Experience:

  High School diploma/GED and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Education (e.g. Vocational, Associate, Bachelor, etc.) preferred, but not required.

  Relocation:

  Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

  Travel:

  Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

  Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  Summary pay range: $46,750 - $57,750
