Summary: Designs and develops processes for customer products and manufacturing tooling. Performs medium to high complexity design assignments. Bachelor or Master Degree in Electro Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. * 5+ years of experience developing assembly processes for microelectronic components. * 5+ years of experience directly supporting microelectronic component manufacturing operations. * Experience with die attach, wire bonding, flip chip, under-fill process, encapsulation, hermetic sealing and packaging process solutions is required. * Strong software knowledge - quality analysis tools, machine automation programming, Microsoft Office. * Hands on assembly equipment programming and troubleshooting experience preferred. * Experience applying problem-solving skills, statistical analysis, process control, and DOE design of experiments principles. * Experience with electronic materials, including conductive/non-conductive epoxies, solders, encapsulants, and underfills. * Experience selecting, specifying, and qualifying manufacturing equipment. * Process development experience is highly desired. * Project management experience is desirable. * Excellent communication skills.
