Merchandising Sales Associate

　　PeopleReady of St. Petersburg, FL is now hiring Merchandising Sales Associates! As a Merchandising Sales Associate, you will do a variety of work in different industries.  

　　Pay Rate:

　　The pay rate for this job is $17 / Hour

　　What you'll be doing as a Merchandising Sales Associate:

　　Responsible for assertive selling of Merchandise through Cirque point of sale system

　　Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate

　　Collect payments, whether in cash or credit, and redeem coupons

　　Cross-sell products and introduce new ones

　　Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information

　　Greet customers when entering or leaving the merchandise area

　　Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas

　　Bag, box or gift-wrap packages

　　Handle merchandise returns and exchanges

　　Available shifts:

　　Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening) & Weekends

　　Job requirements:

　　Possess the ability to learn a point-of-sale system and retain the information

　　Candidate must be outgoing, personable, vocal, energetic and willing to engage customers

　　Up-sell and sales experience preferred

　　Be comfortable working in a loud and fast pace environment efficiently

　　Have a professional, clean appearance with a straight posture. Note: Employees are responsible for arriving in black shirts, pants and shoes (no logos)

　　Be physically able to stand up for long hours

　　Understand customer service and hospitality

　　Work well with others

　　Pay attention to the details

　　Have a welcoming and friendly attitude (smile and proper greetings)

　　Know when to get the help of a supervisor

　　Availability for the whole city duration

　　Speak English – other languages are an asset

　　Background check required
