　　Responsibilities

　　Protect and maintain a secure psychiatric hospital environment by upholding rules and regulations for the safety of staff, patients, visitors and the facility.

　　Provide patient assistance including de-escalating volatile situations and respond accordingly.

　　Assist with the search, inventory, storage and return of patient property.

　　Serve as a member of the crisis response team and participate/lead situational debriefs as required.

　　Respond to requests for further assistance and emergent situations to assist and manage combative/hostile patients and situations to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

　　Requirements

　　Licensure / Certification / Registration:

　　BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

　　Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc preferred.

　　Education:

　　High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

　　Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
