  Job Description

  The primary purpose of this position is to provide superior member service;driving member satisfaction and retention by helping members take fulladvantage of Ent's full range of products and services. This is accomplishedthrough accurate and professional member transactions, enhanced memberawareness of existing products and services, and timely product or servicereferrals. Additionally responsible to understand and comply with credit unionpolicies and procedures, as well as financial regulations to include BSA(Bank Secrecy Act) and CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau).The Member Service Representative must excel in service, qualitycommunication, product knowledge, and accuracy while meeting allservice, performance and safety standards.

  Essential FunctionsProviding quality member service through accurate and professional face toface member transactions to include new member account creation, accountfile and card file maintenance, and basic Service Center Control Manualprocedures.Accountable for meeting member needs through maintaining a strong knowledge ofproducts and services available to members, regularly providing referrals tosuch products and services in all areas including, but not limited tolending, investments, electronic banking, wealth management, andbusiness bankiResponsible for complying with safety and service standards defined in theCredit Unions Policies and Procedures documents, as well as financialregulations to include, but not limited to, BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) andCFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau).Responsible for meeting job training requirements.Responsible for maintaining a cash drawer following procedures defined in theCredit Unions Cash Control Policy.Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies andprocedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

  Qualifications

  Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position

  Member Service Representative:High School Diploma/G.E.D. or Equivalent.6+ months of customer service and cash handling experience, required.Sales experience. preferred.Member Service Representative Senior:High School Diploma/G.E.D. or Equivalent.Member Relationship, Customer Service and New Account, or equivalent training.1+ years' customer service, sales, or other related experience required1+ years' financial institution experience, required.6+ months of cash handling required.

  Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in arelevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of abachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience couldbe substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accountingwork experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of workexperien

  Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  Enthusiastic attitude regarding helping our community.Strong emphasis on member service and offering appropriate cross-sell/upsellopportunities to the member.Strong attention to detail and accuracy of all transactions is of criticalimportance.Professional and courteous communication skills are of critical importance.Profici nt in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, anddivision).Comfortable handling physical money with a high level of accuracy with membersdirectly.Exposure to Microsoft Outlook and web-based transactional systems to completeday-to-day member requests.Able to use 10-Key by touch is preferred.
