About Meeting Planner

  Job Summary

  Robert Half is seeking a Meeting Planner , who will join the Meeting and Events team which plans, implements and executes meetings and events for Corporate services, Staffing and Protiviti.

  Specific responsibilities include:

  Plan, implement and manage meetings, events and trainings for a specific geographic location for Robert Half and Protiviti including all aspects of meetings including travel components.

  Develop and manage budgets for each program assigned, including but not limited cost analysis, timely invoice processing and bill and credit card reconciliation.

  Negotiation of contracts including but not limited to hotels, transportation vendors, production companies and catering services in support of meetings to provide maximum cost savings for the company.

  Assist with large event programs by handling smaller accepts/tasks of the larger program such as but not limited rooming lists, photography, food and beverage, décor or transportation.

  Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  3+ years’ in meeting planning experience.

  Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, SharePoint).

  Knowledge of meeting planning tools preferred specifically Cvent.

  The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location.

  $73,000.00 - $107,000.00
