Description
Lead the marketing team with strategic planning oversight, new product introduction governance, and cross departmental coordination. He/She will lead a group of product marketing personnel and cultivate their growth in marketing skills and mindset.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Understand and care for the team members with regular communication
Situational development and upskilling of product managers’ core competencies including forecasting, market analysis, competitor analysis, cross departmental communication, sales training material creation, promotional material creation and new product introduction
Create a harmonious and positive team environment where trust is established
Oversee the below job duties of product managers:
Contribute to the development of respective platform strategies and drive planning and execution of marketing initiatives
Identify and address customer segments and targets, e.g. New Product portfolio segmentation strategy development and execution
Drive portfolio positioning and prioritization
Establish pricing strategies that maximize brand profitability and market share
Partner with Sales organizations for effective deployment
Establish tracking tools and adjusts plans in line with results
Identify customer needs, develop disease state and procedure insights in the field of surgery and understand health care market trends and competitor strategies
Build and maintain relationships with KOLs
Apply market research tools to deepen customer understanding
Leverage multiple sources of competitive intelligence (global, regional and local)
Create market models and sales forecasts
Manage the business with financial acumen to achieve business plan goals
Analyze and improve top and bottom-line performance, e.g. through the platform and pricing dashboards
Evaluate new business opportunities,
Assess Marketing spend effectiveness
Commercialize new products to sustain sales growth
Influence the Global/ AP Strategy & Pipeline team to ensure that TW market needs are considered
Develop launch strategies that include market research, regulatory, reimbursement, Supply Chain, pricing, ProfEd/sales training and communication plans as well as KOL feedback and advocacy
3 Apply project management tools to define project objectives, scope and process
Use the LEX approach to create a cohesive NPIs launch plan
Collaborate proactively with regional and country partners to deliver launch plans
Develop clear marketing messages that influence internal and external stakeholder behavior
Build and “sell” a clear, concise and compelling story
Proactively communicate with and deliver value to diverse stakeholders
Coordinate integrated communication plans with agencies
Successfully apply digital strategies and other innovative approaches
Close collaboration with the sales team and supporting functions (Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Market Access, Education, Sales Learning & Development) and Global Marketing (upstream & downstream) as well as relationship building with and support of country Marketing contacts (e.g. technical questions from field sales colleagues and customers)
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (business administration preferred)
Must have at least 5 years of work experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the Medical devices industry
Orthopedics industry knowledge is preferred
Experience in developing and deploying marketing plans
Strong analytics and strategic thinking
Experience in managing different stakeholders (customers, hospital administrators etc.)
Fluent in English (oral & written) TOEIC score 850 or above, or equivalency certification
Need to have regular connect/ meeting with regional/ global counterpart. Fluent in English communication (oral & written) is the must.
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Profound project Management experience
Provide high quality deliverable in a timely manner
Excellent MS-Office skills
Able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary, international and virtual work environment
Willingness to travel
