About Part-Time Faculty - College Learning Strategies (Summer 2024)

　　The School of Education is looking for part time faculty to teach CLS 100 College Learning Strategies (1 credit) during Summer Session II 2024.

　　CLS 100 is designed to help ensure a smooth transition from high school to college for newly admitted students to Syracuse University. This course will help you develop strategies like taking notes, studying for exams, test taking, etc. The course will also support you as you develop habits like managing time and stress, breaking procrastination patterns, and attending to your health and wellbeing while developing your educational identity and sense of belonging. Participation in SummerStart during Summer Session II provides pre-freshmen holistic opportunities to become familiar with the academic, social, and cultural life at SU.
