We are in search of a Medical Receptionist to join our team situated in AMELIA, Ohio. This role involves managing the front desk operations in a healthcare setting, facilitating effective patient communication, and handling administrative tasks diligently. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming phone calls and emails, ensuring patient inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately.

• Oversee the check-in process for patients arriving for appointments, ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience.

• Carry out data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy, updating patient records as required.

• Manage mail processing, ensuring all incoming and outgoing mail is handled in a timely and organized manner.

• Provide assistance with billing functions to ensure accurate and timely billing processes.

• Contribute to the creation of charts and graphs to represent patient data and trends.

• Perform consistent check-ins with patients to maintain a high level of customer service.

• Use your skills in answering inbound calls to address patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide information.

• Manage all aspects of patient interaction with professionalism, from answering inquiries to checking patients in for their appointments.

Requirements

• Ability to answer and manage inbound calls effectively

• Experience with billing functions within a medical setting

• Familiarity with creating and interpreting charts and graphs

• Ability to check in and manage patients efficiently and with a high level of customer service

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• High attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks

• Prior experience in a medical receptionist role or similar is desirable

• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare regulations is advantageous.
