　　Under direction of the Section Supervisor, the Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) employs professional knowledge and judgment to perform technical, physical, clerical and quality assurance functions in the department.

　　Associate's Degree in Basic Science or MLT (ASCP)Preferred qualifications:

　　Certification by the Board of Registry of the American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire

　　6 months' of work experience in a clinical laboratory, in a hospital setting
