The position consists of: 0.50 FTE serving as the Medical Director of Adult Inpatient Services for the MHealth Mental Health & Addiction Service Line. 0.3 clinical FTE serving as an inpatient attending on the adult psychiatry inpatient units at the University of Minnesota Medcial Center. 0.2 academic FTE filling one or more open educational roles in the Department: 1) Associate Program Director for the Adult Residency Program (0.2 aFTE). 2) Psychiatry Clerkship Site Director, and Psychiatry Elective Director (0.1-0.15 aFTE for each role, depending on background and professional goals of applicant). The exact roles to be filled and the amount of aFTE allocated to the roles will depend on the successful candidate's background, experience, skills, and qualifications. This position includes exercising creativity in clinical care, clinical programming, and educational opportunities. The successful applicant will join an active and growing department of 72 highly collaborative and engaged faculty members. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Psychiatry residency training program. BC/BE with the ABMS Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure. Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota. Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
