JobDescription: The Financial Counselor provides system-wide supportrelating to identifying , coordinating and securing all aspects offinancial obligations for self-pay patients and patients with balancesafter insurance has paid. The Financial Counselor\'s functions includingacting as a liaison regarding financial liabilities, liabilityestimation, collecting payments, pre-registration of certain patientpopulations, and working closely with patients to identify and applyproper financial assistance. The Financial Counselor will be responsiblefor performing detailed audits of guarantor accounts to identify andrectify billing issues and problems. Major Responsibilities: 1. Worksextensively with patients to identify potential linkages to alternativecoverage options.
