Medical Assistant

　　MUST: Required licensure/certification: Basic Life Support (BLS).Employer will help applicant obtain. Experience as medical assistant preferredbut not required.

　　SKILLS: See musts.

　　DUTIES: Prepares patient for visit with provider, performs duties asassigned by provider, and maintenance of patient records. Assists with thecoordination of various service providers to meet patient needs and withreferrals to appropriate medical resources. This position will also provideoccasional front desk assistance at the Clinic such as answering telephonecalls, scheduling appointments, updating patient demographics andinsurance information along with accepting payments.

　　PAY: $15.50 - $20.00 per hour, based on qualifications/experience.
