Valley Medical Group is seeking anenergetic, personable, and reliable Certified Medical Assistant to joinour Amherst Health Center! This position is in our Controlled SubstanceRefill Program. Hours: 32 hours, Monday-Friday generally between 8:00 amand 5 pm. Hours may vary depending on department needs. Exact scheduleto be discussed at time of interview. The CSRP CMA is responsible foradministering VMG\'s Controlled Substance Registry Program by providinghigh quality patient service. The CSRP MA will enroll patients accordingto VMG Controlled Substance Registry Program Policy and Procedure. JobResponsibilities: Performing and documenting urine toxicology screencollection Performing and documenting pill counts Ensuring that aminimum number of office visits are completed. Ensure that patients havetheir prescriptions on time. Communicate with providers on all issuesaround compliance, failed UTS or failed pill counts . RequiredQualifications: Medical Assistant Certification required (CMA) Knowledgeof medical terminology Proficient computer skills, including Excel andEMR experience.
