Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our urgent care clinic. You will play a critical role in providing patient care, managing medical records, and supporting the clinic's daily operations.

Responsibilities

Collect patient demographics based on symptoms

Manage and update electronic health records (EHR) and medical records

Assist with patient care, including taking vitals and preparing patients for examinations

Support front desk operations, including customer service tasks

Utilize medical terminology effectively in daily tasks

Essential Skills

1+ year experience in a fast-paced clinic

Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Strong understanding of medical terminology

Excellent customer service skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Skills Qualifications

MA diploma or certification, or 1+ years MA experience is preferred

Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification

Work Environment

You will be working onsite at a primary care clinic, seeing between 20 - 30 patients a day.

The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
