responsibilities:
Support change management and product launches for new and existing products and part numbers.
Conduct supplier audits, workshops, and inspections through on-site visits.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
Collaborate with Quality Management, Engineering, and Production teams to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
Clarify and resolve supplier-related problems.
Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions to non-conformities.
Assist in establishing Supplier receiving inspection criteria in SAP.
Provide dimensional support for receiving inspection and FPI (First Piece Inspection) approval.
Analyze line returns (zero-hour failures) and provide insights.
Maintain regular communication with all suppliers regarding returned parts and product non-conformities.
Collaborate with assembly and production teams as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or Quality Engineering is required.
2+ years of experience in manufacturing (labor-intensive) is required.
Experience in an assembly setting is preferred.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines promptly.
Working knowledge of ISO, FMEA, and SPC.
Familiarity with Microsoft products, with proficiency in Excel and Access
Travel:20%
