1.Conduct QC audits according to schedule and compile QC audit report (audit and report accurate, on time and according to procedure).
2.Undertake Supplier inspections of dimensional, visual & performance test of valves, piping, welding / fabrication, acoustic encloser, silencers, base frames, machined components, pump, motors, lube oil systems, hydraulic systems, heat exchangers and report on conformance to AGM – SQA
Authorize the release of items to site in order to indicate quality conformance.
Initiate costumer inspection by placement of call to customers as per the quality plan and compile all the documentation as per customer quality assurance plan.
Initiate, follow up & close out of Non Conformance Reports (NCR) on products found to be non-compliant. Initiate CAPA / 8D with suppliers for all the NCRs; ensure all corrective and preventive measures are implemented.
Ensure stores goods received items are inspected & supplied in accordance to purchase order specification and provide assistance to in house inspections when .required.
Ensure qualification of welding process, welders, NDT operators, painting process, hydrostatics and other respective equipment test procedures and keep records.
Verify & ensure Suppliers are working in accordance to the latest copies of Howden India
Purchase Specifications, drawings & Procedures.
Monitor the manufacturing progress and do follow up/ expedite at supplier’s place whenever required.
Expedite progress on additional Orders at suppliers during inspections. Surveillances audits.

•Diploma In Mechanical Engineering with ten to twelve years of work Experience Or Bachelor In Mechanical Engineering with seven to ten years of work Experience from Petrochemical, Oil & Gas Industry (PCOG).
• Ability to read & interpret technical drawings & specifications.
• Knowledgeable on the use & applications of various measuring & test equipment.
• NDT leve-2 in PT, MT, UT, RT from ASNT or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of steel fabrication and welding process.
• Good knowledge of inspection & testing of process equipment like, pressure vessel lube oil systems, instrumentation, valve, piping fabrication, motors, control panels etc…
• Computer literacy – Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word, Excel & PowerPoints.
• ISO 9000 quality Management systems training.
• Accredited internal auditor on quality management system – 9001-2015.
D E S I R A B L E S K I LL S & EX PE R I E N C E:
• Certified Welding Inspector Course from WRI, AWS or equivalent
• Skilled in environmental and legal issues around QC & Safety
• Proficient in MS Office environment
• Accredited internal auditor in Integrated Management systems. (ISO-9001, 45001, 14001).
• Certified welding inspector CSWIP or AWS.
