Position Summary:
BBU is looking for a confident, self-starting performance driven media professional. Someone who canlead all elements of activation - from planning to execution with agencies to optimization to reporting.The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing and will be willing and excited to shareknowledge and train their team on running a successful campaign and testing program. Mostimportantly, someone who takes contributing to a positive and healthy workplace as a seriousresponsibility.This role will primarily focus on media strategy / planning, and directing executional teams in dailymanagement of campaigns, tests, and optimizations. The perfect candidate understands the mechanicsof digital channels/tactics through hands-on-keyboard experience, and how they fit in the context of thebroader communications plan. This role will require high levels of cross-functional collaboration withboth internal and agency teams, including brand management, analytics, sales, creative, and mediaagencies.
Key Job Responsibilities:* Be a media resource to the brand teams by advising on media strategy and activation that willmeet the brand's larger business goals* Direct hands-on-keyboard resources at Agency to provide inputs to campaign planning, testdesign details, and optimization.* Oversee Agency execution of campaigns, tests, and optimization (e.g. ensure campaigns arecreated with appropriate levels of granularity / detail to facilitate granular reporting and insightgeneration of performance data across dimensions like audience, channel, geography, andtactic).* Support analytics team members to identify media optimization opportunities and provide datafor test and campaign measurement.* Support Brand teams in identifying testing hypotheses and action statements - proactivelychampioning prior in-platform learning that could drive better results over time* Define parameters and execution mechanics for media test designs.* Translate media test / optimization / campaign outcomes to actionable next steps.* Maintain strong expertise in digital media landscape, including media partners/products andindustry best practices.* Collaborates with cross-functional team and able to succinctly communicate approach,performance and outcomes.#LI-TN1Position Requirements:
Education and Work History:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred. A combination of education, trainingand experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.* 8+ years of experience in performance media for successful consumer products brand(s);current or prior experience with paid social, display, video, search, content syndication.* Understands mechanics of major media channels (display, OLV, programmatic, social, linear TV,OTT, streaming radio, etc.)* 15% travel* Familiarity with common ad servers and DSPs.* Ability to set KPI's and communicate performance, improve measurement - is eager to developfurther skills in extracting and translating the most meaningful data into insights to the team* Experience translating media data to actionable insights to inform testing backlog creation /prioritization, test design details, and measurem nt.* Ability to communicate test / optimization objectives and media buying details to hands-onkeyboard resources clearly and prescriptively (e.g. targeting parameters, channel details, buymechanics, audience data sources).* Experience using and applying research tools such as ComScore, MRI, Google products.* Experience leading a team.* Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.* Math, analytical and forecasting skills.* Organized and effective time management.* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.* Ability to self-organize and execute deliverables independently.
